Aquabait Pty Ltd provides its farmed tube-worms to bait and tackle shops live. The tube-worms are kept alive within a recirculation system within the bait and tackle shops for the angler to buy fresh. Aquabait’s tube-worms are kept in optimal condition from the farm gates right to the anglers hook by using methods of handling the worms that don’t cause stress. In particular, the harvesting method utilised on Aquabait marine worm farm causes the tube-worms to be sedated. Therefore the worm suffers less stress and this leads to very high quality live bait that can last weeks if kept in shallow sandy substrate with readily changed seawater and aeration.

Aquabait has brought onto the market its specially preserved tube-worm, which has been researched and developed to provide an easy to use, effective, long-lasting bait that will keep in your freezer for months.

These preserved tube-worms are packaged without their tubes, within our newly designed packaging. One packet contains a minimum of 5 worms. These worms are on average 23cm in length, therefore there is several baits per worm to use when fishing.
