The preserved blood-worms have a tougher feel due to

the preservation process and are found to be threaded

onto a hook easily. They hang on to that hook like glue!

You can also soak the worms in a small amount of water

(preferably the water you are fishing in) for about twenty

minutes to rehydrate them
